This clever little pen is a quick and easy way to check if the papers and stickers you are using are Acid-Free. Simply stroke the pen onto a hidden corner or the back of the product you wish to test and wait, if it goes yellow, it has a high acid content and is not suitable for archiving, scapbooking etc, if it stays blue, it is acid free and if it goes green it is the perfect colour for the longevity of your projects!

Metallic rub-ons are a wax based, non toxic colour palette used for adding colour or metallic shine and luster to art projects. Works on either coated, glossy or plain paper cardstocks, as well as metallic paper, metal tooling, sealing wax, velour paper or melted embossing powders. Colour can be applied with sponge applicators or with your finger. When applying color with your fingertip, begin lightly and sparingly at first to avoid a fingerprint. Build up colour gradually until the image is as dark as you wish. Blending the colours and metallic finishes together gives interesting shades whilst adding colour on colour to gives highlights. Allow time for the rub ons to set or use a fixative spray to seal the work. |
